Pump hire specialist, Sykes Pumps, has launched a new addition to its range of high performance pumps with the introduction of the 12” electric automatic self-priming surface mounted UV301M.

A cost-effective, low-noise solution suitable for a wide range of construction, utilities, emergency sewage, flood response, manufacturing, industrial and agricultural applications, the new UV301M is capable of flows up to 450 litres per second and heads of up to 36 metres. It also offers impressive solids handling while delivering low running costs and a small footprint.

Chris Graham, sales director at Sykes Pumps explains: “The UV301M offers incredible performance capabilities but is considerably smaller than other units with similar flow rate and solids handling specifications, making it ideal for locations where space is restricted.

“Portable and easy to deploy quickly, it only requires 12” suction and discharge hoses and a stand-alone non return valve to carry out high-volume transportation of liquids.”

The UV301M’s impressive low running costs are thanks to its premium efficiency IE3 motor, which also enables quieter operation. Motor protection has been included in the specification to reduce the risk of damage and enable continuous operation. This is backed by Sykes Pumps’ regular servicing and maintenance visits along with the company’s rapid response commitment for call outs.

The pump has a solids handling impeller and a back flush feature designed into the unit to help clear potential blockages, once again supporting uninterrupted high performance.

Chris Graham adds: “The addition of this industry-leading high performance pump to the Sykes Pumps range indicates our continuing commitment to ensuring we address our customers’ requirements with a wide-ranging fleet and a national network of depots.

“This pump offers a versatile, cost-effective and space efficient solution for applications where high flow rates are required and our expert team is on hand to advise customers on the best solution to meet their needs.” Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
