Saint-Gobain PAM increases AquaVantage range of durable draining solutions

Posted: Wednesday 3rd September 2014

Saint-Gobain PAM UK has launched a new size for its AquaVantage collection, completing the range and ensuring that there is a high-performance road drainage solution suitable for every application.

Growth in traffic speed and intensity coupled with ever changing climatic conditions has placed even greater emphasis on the need for problem free, durable drainage solutions, and based on feedback from specifiers and installers Saint-Gobain PAM has now increased the number of sizes within its range to include 900 x 900mm and 675 x 1200mm options.

Manufactured in the UK from 97 per cent recycled materials, AquaVantage has been designed with ease of use and safety in mind. An integral captive hinged grating section reduces the required lifting effort making opening and closing easier, and an offset lifting keyhole promotes correct posture during opening and frame lifting. Shackle points are also provided to ensure safe handling during loading, offloading and installation.

The system also includes a facility for multi level anti-theft and anti-vandal deterrents, including an optional retro-fit locking device for the ultimate level of security.

Paul Thompson, marketing manager – municipal castings at Saint-Gobain PAM UK, commented: “We have a deep understanding of the markets in which we operate and recognise the challenges that specifiers and installers face. With the changes in road and climate conditions it has never been more important to specify and install high-quality and durable drainage solutions, and this system provides that confidence for our customers.”

AquaVantage is ideally suited for carriageway drainage channels with a 1:5 profile and is able to cope with the most demanding of situations. The range is fully compliant and Kitemarked with the requirements of BS EN 124:1994 and in addition is also compliant with the recommendations of the Highways Agency Guidance Note HA 104/09.
