Pump lifting chains

Posted: Tuesday 7th July 2009

Bradney Chain has in response to customer demand once again widened its range of pump lifting chains for use with submersible pumps. They have now increased the selection available for each size.

With many of the utility companies setting their own specification for lifting chain, Bradney’s aim is to produce a range that will hopefully encompass all requirements. Chains can be cut to length and if the required design is not listed we have the expertise and facilities to produce bespoke assemblies.

The lifting capacity or WLL of our pump chains now covers 250kg to 6300kg for both STAINLESS STEEL and galvanised chains. We incorporate exclusively short link chain which is tested after assembly to twice the working-load limit, offering a minimum four-to-one safety factor.

Bespoke stainless steel slings and assemblies have become our speciality of late. Some of these can be seen in our revised website, which also incorporates many new and traditional products, along with useful specification sheets on some of our products.

Bradney Chain as a company have been making chains, lifting gear, forgings, fabrications and associated equipment since 1890. We are proud of our reputation for high quality products and efficient service. Bradney Chain maintains a most stringent quality control over all stages of production, our ISO9001:2000 certification is proof of our continual commitment to quality.
