Leading pump manufacturer RFE has just launched a brand new design for its low volume peristaltic pump used for injecting precise doses of chemicals in such applications as dairy, laundry and ware washing equipment.

The new design has been conceived by professional industrial product designers to improve servicing of the unit in the field, and has been assisted by feedback from a Swedish customer.

Whilst the internals and specification of the pump remain the proven reliable product as before, a change has been made to its housing, which now becomes a one-piece translucent plastic moulding which makes the running components visible and with no screw fixings has the advantage for installers and service engineers of being easy to open for cleaning and servicing.

Two versions of the pump are available, these being with and without a mounting plate to suit different applications.

RFE’s peristaltic pumps have become respected the world over for their efficiency and reliability. The peristaltic pump technology includes spring actuated rollers, giving a long tube life. Flow control can be easily provided with various tube sizes which are available in different materials to suit most chemicals and even aggressive chemicals. The pumps feature high-torque motors, are self-priming to a height of 3 metres and are available in 12V, 24V DC or 230V AC supply. Easy to install and operate, the pumps provide a flow rate from 1ml to 400ml per minute.

The new design of peristaltic pump from RFE is likely to be welcomed by many industries from ware washing, printing, laundry and food processing to car wash, dairy and water and effluent treatment.
