Marley Alutec, the UKís leading aluminium rainwater systems company, has further extended its highly successful Alutec Evolve range with the addition of a new ogee profile gutter.

The Evolve Ogee, which features concealed top fixing brackets, is a modern re-interpretation of the traditional Victorian profile and offers a sleek design choice that is in keeping with both contemporary and heritage styles. Compatible with Marley Alutecís 76mm ō and 72x72mm downpipes, in both the Traditional and Flush-fit options, the high performance system offers complete flexibility for specifiers.

Furthermore, the Evolve Ogee is particularly suitable for projects where a very high capacity is required, as the impressive maximum flow rate of 7 litres per second reduces the number of downpipes needed. Available in 21 standard colours, including Heritage Black, the Evolve Ogee has a wide range of choice to complement any aesthetic finish.

Stephen Jeffries, Product, Marketing and Development Manager at Marley Alutec, commented: ďThe Evolve Ogee is part of the continued introduction of innovative new products from Alutec. Combining sleek aesthetics with the high performance capabilities specifiers have come to expect from the Evolve range, the new ogee profile offers our customers an even wider breadth of choice. Furthermore, as aluminium is an infinitely recyclable material, the Evolve range of Half Round, Deepflow and Box profiles is an extremely sustainable option.Ē

As with all products in the Evolve range, the ogee profile is exceptionally durable and lightweight with a life expectancy of 50 years or more. The polyester powder coating ensures a hardwearing, fade resistant finish, which reduces maintenance and will last the lifetime of the product.

As well as benefiting from this 50 year + life expectancy, the responsible manufacturing processes and infinitely recyclable aluminium used in the Evolve range make it the product of choice for sustainable building. Aluminium is one of the only materials that can be recycled again and again without loss of quality, and using just 5% of the original processing energy.
