ITT Water & Wastewater expands capabilities with special Projects Team

Posted: Thursday 29th April 2010

ITT Water & Wastewater is strengthening its offering as a total solutions provider with the formation of ITT Projects. The 12 strong team will further boost the business’ capabilities in the UK’s water and wastewater treatment industry and help to offer its customers complete fluid handling and treatment solutions.

The new team, headed up by Duncan Leathley, has unrivalled expertise in water treatment processes, product knowledge, systems design and engineering. It will be responsible for project management, implementation and installation of complex solutions, such as sewage treatment facility refurbishment - working across ITT WWW’s main pump, filtration and water treatment brands and services nationally.

Duncan Leathley, ITT WWW’s General Manager: Projects, said: “The ITT Projects team is integral to the future growth of the whole UK business and an important step forward in providing customers with complete solutions. The collective expertise and knowledge means that we can work across the whole business to add value to our customers’ projects, as well as increasing our overall capability as a process contractor. The team also has principal contractor status so we can now provide a total solution, which is flexible and innovative by utilizing the know-how of our in-house service and rental departments.”

ITT Water & Wastewater has four key brands; Flygt, Sanitaire, Wedeco and Leopold. Following the merger in 2008, the projects team has been formed to capture this cross divisional knowledge and provide further support across the whole business.
