Isodaq Launches World’s First Rugged Notepad in UK Market

Isodaq Technology,specialists in the development and supply of monitoring systems for the water and environmental protection industries, is now offering the groundbreaking new Juniper Mesa Rugged Notepad to customers in the UK.

The Mesa, developed by Juniper Systems Inc., is the latest addition to their extensive range of rugged handheld computers and provides a unique platform for dedicated field data collection applications suitable for even the most extreme outdoor environments.

The Mesa features the biggest screen available on a Windows Mobile® rugged handheld computer, with a 5.7 inch active viewing display. The Notepad is available in three models: Standard, Geo and Geo 3G. The Standard Mesa features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® wireless technology, while the Geo model adds 1-5 metre accuracy GPS and a 3.2MP camera enhanced with Juniper Geo-tagging™ - the ability to embed and emboss photos with date, time and GPS position. The Geo 3G model includes camera, GPS and a 3G GSM data modem for increased speed and connectivity capabilities.

The Mesa has been build to survive the toughest environments. It is fully waterproof and dustproof and can withstand raised humidity, sand and dust, shocks and vibration. Its rugged magnesium and plastic chassis protects the Mesa from drops of up to a metre, onto concrete.

Unique to the Mesa is its Juniper Systems home screen. This customizable screen puts the most-used device functions in a finger-friendly on-screen dashboard. Key features include user-defined shortcuts and 11 screen gadgets for controlling wireless connections, GPs, texting, email, calendar and power functions.
