‘Heavithane’ - Dependable by Design

Brauer wheels are used extensively on sewage and water treatment works throughout the British Isles, Brauer has been serving the UK Water industry for over 50 years from its newly upgraded factory in Milton Keynes and with the latest ‘Heavithane’ polymer introduction, Brauer is looking forward to yet another 50 years’ service.

Water industry ‘Half Bridge’ Scrapers use Brauer’s latest ‘Heavithane’ (Brauer trade name) special polymer Polyurethane Tyred Wheels, the new ‘Heavithane’ range have been specifically developed for continuous running on the top surfaces of sewage circular concrete tanks, amongst other applications.

The latest ‘Heavithane’ principle is to provide premium traction via driven axles to the wheel contact surface, yet still offer the customer the most durable and resilient grade of tyre possible.

Brauer use superior Vulkollan base polymer material within ‘Heavithane’ because of its high resistance to abrasion, very good operating temperature ranges and its ability to carry high loads.

‘Heavithane’ Wheels are available from stock, additionally ‘Heavithane’ Wheels can be designed and manufactured to meet any customer’s specific need, to any size and to suit any application.
