Grundfos CR - the Power Full Solution

Posted: Friday 28th March 2008

Back in 1973 when Grundfos introduced the world’s first multistage in-line pump, little did they realise that this would see the start of one of their most iconic and enduring products.

To maintain its leading edge status, Grundfos have continued to develop the range, adding more engineering benefits and an increasing range of sizes to this family that happily operates in so many different applications, from commercial building services, to water supply systems, industrial applications, to fire systems and packaged booster sets.

The latest advance sees the range almost double the power available from one single CR pump from 45 to 75 kW that offers flows of up to 180m3/h. These new CR(N)120 and CR(N)150 pumps will still maintain the same huge benefits of reliability, flexibility and efficiency as the rest of the CR family, as well as offering high efficiency EFF1 motors as standard and at no additional cost. Also available as CRN options, these powerful workhorses can also be delivered in high-grade stainless steel.

With the addition of these 32 pumps, the CR range can now boast to having the world’s largest multistage inline pump in its portfolio, developed because Grundfos’ customer base needs were increasingly for larger pump solutions.

At 35 years of age and now able to offer customers over one million possible configurations the CR family continues to not only lead the way, but to go from strength to strength.
