Latest product launches

Demonstrating its commitment to continuous product development, Marley Plumbing and Drainage has now extended its range of solvent weld fittings with the addition of a number of new products to its solvent soil system, including a unique eight-way collar boss for ultimate flexibility.

The 9 new 110mm fittings have been designed to widen the scope of application for the installer. The key addition to the collection, however, is an innovative eight-way soil manifold, which offers the flexibility of four top and side entries, allowing for multiple inlet connections.

At just 70mm above the floor slab, the Marley eight-way collar boss is compact and unobtrusive, sitting neatly at finished floor level in most typical applications. The efficient design prevents cross-flow by allowing multiple low level bath or shower waste pipes to be connected to the stack above floor level.

There is no need to cut into the floor slab and so installation is quick and easy, with no time-consuming alterations required. The universal orientation and hole-saw locator on the boss enables maximum flexibility and further simplifies installation. What’s more, the unique SCBL41 option benefits from a 530mm spigot tail, making it even quicker to install as the tail fits directly through the slab to connect to a push-fit socket below the ceiling. Finally, for added reassurances of quality, all parts are pressure tested to ensure maximum joint security.

“At Marley we are strongly focused on new product development and this latest offering follows several other important product launches earlier in the year, including our new Marley Akatherm HDPE range and Marley dBlue acoustic soil and waste system,” comments Fiona Bashford, Marketing Manager at Marley Plumbing and Drainage. “We are committed to providing customers with high quality products that meet their needs, as well as an experienced technical design back up and support service, ensuring the right product is always specified for the application. By listening to our customers we are better able to supply them with the products they really require and the new additions to the solvent soil range are a direct result of this process.”
