An international dairy company has recruited Busch to service its vacuum pumps and systems.

The Cheese Company manufactures a variety of cheeses at four of its five UK sites and has taken a service contract with Busch for its engineers to support its range of R 5 and booster pumps which are used to package dairy products.

A spokesperson at The Cheese Company, said: “We feel Busch offers the best service package and, having used them before, were confident in their ability to ensure the continued smooth operation of our production facility, with minimal disruption.

“Keeping our equipment well serviced ultimately leads to a reduction in potential costs and maximising of our capacity.”

The Cheese Company has signed up to a group service agreement which includes standard set visits as part of the maintenance contract.

Busch operates a 24 / 7 service facility covering breakdowns, remanufacture, service exchange and spare parts.

The Cheese Company’s range of stilton, cheddars and regional cheeses are available at all major retail outlets, cash and carry, with export internationally.

Sue Nicholson, service manager at Busch, said: “We believe our service package is second to none and our offering is not only limited to Busch products.”

Busch (UK) Ltd was established in 1971 and supplies a comprehensive range of vacuum pumps, low-pressure compressors and systems, which are designed and built to meet the individual needs of its customers. Its Telford base also features a full service and support centre.

With more than 1800 employees working in 38 manufacturing and operations facilities located around the world, Busch Vacuum Pumps & Systems was founded in Germany in 1963 by Dr-Ing Karl and Mrs Ayhan Busch.
