AUMA ToolSuite for PDAs

AUMA, the established manufacturer of modular electric actuation solutions has introduced an ‘AUMA ToolSuite’ variant for industrial Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs).

Designed to provide easy access to essential valve control data, a ToolSuite for installation on laptops was introduced in first quarter 2010 to support AUMA’s new Generation .2 range of actuators and controls. The PDA option newly released is the latest in a series of free software products developed at the actuator specialist’s German R&D production facility.

Available as a free download at the company’s website, the PDA ToolSuite is equipped with diagnostic features. Functionality includes operation and programming of AUMA actuators with integral AC.2 controls. Wireless data transfer between PDA and actuator via Bluetooth is also provided.

Supporting its global presence, AUMA has provided 15 language options for its PDA ToolSuite package including Chinese and Japanese.
