AMNISYS – Radically reduced costs for NH3/NO3 measurement

Posted: Friday 20th April 2007
Envitech Ltd. has launched a BRAND NEW product, which they say will make instrumentation of small sewage works affordable. AmniSys is a leap forward for ISE technology and makes Ammonia and Nitrate measurement for Crude, settled sewage, Mixed liquor or final effluent a practical proposition for small and large works alike.
At approximately 1/3rd the price of conventional sensors it makes wide spread application for ASP energy saving projects and final effluent quality monitoring a viable proposition.
This is possible due to the development of a unique membrane technology with an ion specificity of more than 4x that of other manufacturers. The sensing head accommodates up to 4 sensing elements permitting a selection from NH4, pH, NO3, NO2, K and others to be employed.
AmNiSys has:
- Automatic air cleaning
- Automatic compensation for interfering ions
- Graphic display with results from up to 4 systems in one transmitter
- 4 off analogue outputs, 5 configurable relays, RS232, profibus option
- Fully refurbishable low cost sensors, no sensor replacement necessary
- Digital data transmission from sensors
The same transmitter and sensor head combination or the wall mount version can also be used with other ISE probes enabling many other parameters to be determined, including Sulphide, Fluoride, Chloride, Sodium and many more.
