William Hackett announce arrival of the Cromox range

The oldest UK chain products manufacturer William Hackett Chains Ltd, is delighted to announce that it has signed a strategic distribution agreement for the UK and Ireland with Ketten Wälder who manufacture the Cromox range, which is Europe’s most complete and available grade 6 stainless steel chain sling system.

Both family run companies share the same ethos of integrity and dependability and a commitment to establish long term supply arrangements. This agreement combines world class design and manufacturing with world class distribution, assembly and certification services through a network of established distributors.

William Hackett’s excellent reputation for service, compliance and traceability is delivered through Assure, the lifting industry’s leading operational platform for risk and compliance support services.

William Hackett Chains Ltd was founded in 1892 and has been continuously manufacturing chains ever since. The factory is still based in Cradley, West Midlands, producing chain products and chain harrows. In 1989 a lifting division was established in Alnwick, Northumberland, and this part of the business is now established as a truly global supplier of lifting equipment.
