Posted: Tuesday 3rd November 2015

SUEZ Treatment Solutions UK has appointed two new members to its highly skilled technical development team. Utilising the combined expertise of the team, SUEZ offers water and wastewater solutions including technical water and wastewater trouble-shooting, consultancy, and project management capability to customers in the process industries.

Peter Cooke joins the team as a Senior Development Engineer, bringing with him a depth of knowledge on all aspects of industrial water and wastewater treatment. Prior to joining SUEZ in the UK, Peter managed his own water consultancy business for more than a decade, advising customers on technical and management aspects of water and wastewater treatment, also associated environmental permits and regulations.

Peterís knowledge includes specialist expertise in biological treatment processes and technologies that are becoming more prevalent across industry such as Membrane Bioreactors and Anaerobic Digestion.

Jac Wardle also joins SUEZ Treatment Solutions UK as a Technical Development Manager. Jacís expertise stems from his time working within the water industry, most recently as a Senior Process Engineer at Welsh Water. Jac also has longstanding personal interest and technical knowledge in industrial wastewater treatment, particularly nitrogen and phosphorus removal and the removal of metals from wastewater.

Andrew Brown, Technical and Development Director at SUEZ Treatment Solutions UK (formerly known as Ondeo Industrial Solution, Purite and B&V Group) explains the teamís responsibilities: ďItís our job to provide technical support, either directly to customers or to SUEZ teams that operate, maintain and specify water and effluent plants for customers. We use our expertise to diagnose process related performance, highlight areas that can optimise the plant for cost efficiencies and ensure that all environmental regulations are being met. In doing so, we provide peace of mind to customers, enabling them to tackle the three biggest challenges that they face: cost, performance and environmental management.Ē

The SUEZ Treatment Solutions UK technical development team also advise on Capex projects, developing process options that help customers at the front end, for example, in deciding which treatment process will be most effective and working on associated proposals followed by validation and project management.
