Posted: Thursday 17th January 2013

Performance Pump & Equipment (PP&E), one of the UK's leading independent pump hire and sales specialists, is pleased to announce it recently opened a new depot in the West Midlands. The launch of the new depot will lead to a number of new jobs being created in the region.

The company, which also has depots in Wigan, Petersfield and Bridgewater, has opened the new Midlands-based depot as a way of continuing to expand its presence across the UK and to offer a higher level of service to companies in the Midlands area. The new depot will also allow PP&E to increase its operational fleet.

Dave Berry, managing director at PP&E, commented, At a time when the double dip recession continues to bite hard, we are really excited to have opened this new depot. We will now be able to offer customers in the Midlands a 24/7 service with the highest levels of customer support, something which we have prided ourselves on since being established.

PP&E supplies an extensive range of pump products to all major engineering industry sectors, including construction, civil engineering, water utilities, mining & quarrying, waste & landfill, industrial, and petro-chemical, across the length and breadth of the UK.

From its headquarters in Wigan - close to the M62 and the M6 - and depots located across the UK, PP&E provides a nationwide service to companies across a wide range of sectors, including construction, civil engineering, water utilities, mining, quarrying, waste and landfill, industrial and petro-chemical.

In line with PP&Es strategy to grow the business and further support its clients in providing the best possible service across the UK, the company has also announced new partnership agreements with a number of suppliers, for products which include Inflatable pipe stoppers, pipe road ramps and pipe pedestrian ramps. The company also recently moved into a larger head office facility to deal with the increasing demand for its services and solutions.
