Going from strength to strength in the UK market, the innovative Irish-owned concrete and paving specialist, Kilsaran International, has recently appointed two new faces to their growing nationwide sales team, to continue their reputation of exceptional service and support.

Neil Revill has joined the team as commercial manager, focusing on the development of the builders merchant market across Wales, the South West and the Midlands. Neil commented: “Having started my career in the merchant market I am returning to my roots with this new position. My main objective is to support and develop Kilsaran’s growing distribution network and portfolio, including the new patio and paving range developed by TV garden designer, Diarmuid Gavin. This impressive range presents a wealth of opportunities including the endorsement of a famous celebrity face – and one who really knows his the landscape market. This is a very exciting time to come on board.”

The second appointment sees Richard Featley step up as southern sales and specification manager, supporting Robert Davenhall, the UK specifications manager, throughout the southern region. With a solid career in the construction industry, Richard brings much experience from working on many high profile specifications for other paving brands. Richard said of his move: “I wanted to join a company which would benefit from my experience and relationships in the field, having already worked with a number of leading concrete manufacturers. The great thing about Kilsaran is that the company manufactures a range of commercially-focused products, at the cutting edge of innovation and quality. Kilsaran delivers a competitively priced, high quality, paving solution, sometimes specifiers think it is too good to be true! Samples alone will be my secret weapon – they prove the real merit of a superior, value-engineering solution.”

Rob Taylor, UK director at Kilsaran International, commented: “Kilsaran International has achieved a position in the UK market as a viable alternative paving brand, supported by a fast-growing customer base, including both merchants and high profile specifiers. This team expansion will support the growing developments, number of specs, increased customer base and further extend our presence in the market.”

The recent expansion follows notable industry successes during the last year, including the dramatic growth of their merchant distribution network as a preferred supplier to the influential h&b Buying Group. The company has also established a competitive reputation among the architectural community, resulting in the achievement of a highly sought-after specification status for the demanding London Gateway project, the construction of which will bring this century’s first major marine shipping facility to British shores.
