Echo Managed Services is delighted to have been awarded the contract to deliver its market leading billing system, RapidXtra, to Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water. As one of the UK’s largest water companies, Welsh Water provide water supply and sewerage services to over three million people living and working in Wales and parts of England.

In making its choice it was essential for Welsh Water that its new billing system would be cost effective, would support its customer first culture, would be largely pre-configured and proven through use within a similar regulated industry environment. Welsh Water was looking for a system which would meet two primary criteria: on the one hand a system which is proven, reliable and cost effective; whilst on the other, not compromising on their desire for a great breadth of functionality and an innovative roadmap development plan to address the future needs of their customers.

Built specifically for the needs of UK water customer service operations, over the last five years or so RapidXtra has become the market leading billing system for the UK water industry.
