Abloy UK’s Dealer Network gets off to a flying start

Posted: Tuesday 22nd January 2013

Abloy UK has rebranded its Dealer Network in a bid to make specifiers’ lives easier, and to provide a dedicated extension to its existing sales team.

Abloy has over 90 companies included within the Network, which is a new approach to working jointly with its “Authorised” and “Approved” categories of Dealers. It covers the UK and the Republic of Ireland, offering Architects, Specifiers and Security Managers access to a dedicated team of approved Dealers, working as an extension of the Abloy UK sales team.

The Dealer Network also includes a group of companies that offer servicing for locker locks, with the ASSA range of locks for wet and dry environments.

Available to view on the Abloy website www.abloy.co.uk, customers are able to search the Dealer Network map and find the location and contact details of any supplier, enabling them to tap into greater levels of support, including product and specification advice – all aimed at providing compliant solutions that are highly secure.

Not only this, Dealers that are part of the network now have access to greater marketing tools and also first hand knowledge and in-depth information regarding new product ranges, all backed up by the Abloy UK sales team.

Jon Burke, Marketing Manager for Abloy, said: “We’re delighted to announce the new look of our Dealer Network. It’s all about making specifiers’ lives easier and ensuring that they have dedicated support and easy access to our products and compliant solutions. All of the Dealers have been trained in the Academy Foundations courses offered by Abloy, so they’re able to offer specific expert and impartial advice on standards compliance.

“Even though we’re nearing the 100 Dealers mark, we’re looking to expand the network next year so that our end-users will find the process of seeking a supplier even easier.”

Abloy UK supplies a market-leading range of padlocks, electric locks and cylinders for cabinets and doors in retail, leisure and museum environments as well as utilities, telecommunications and military applications.
