Stormsaver ‘steels’ another new contract

Posted: Wednesday 10th August 2011

The UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of rainwater harvesting systems is delighted to announce a new contract with the Tata Steel regeneration arm, UK Steel Enterprise (UKSE) at its latest Innovation Centre.

Stormsaver has been contracted to supply a 10,000 litre, below-ground, rainwater harvesting system to the multi-million pound Hartlepool Innovation Centre expansion, which offers support for new and growing companies in designated steel regions of the UK.

The development will double the size of the existing centre, providing 46 new offices as well as additional reception areas and further parking spaces.

The rainwater harvesting system is predicted to collect 485 m3 of rainwater via the facility’s 762 m2 roof area, which will result in a significant reduction in mains water supply as well as potential cost savings of almost £900 per annum.

Stormsaver was chosen by Mechanical & Electrical Contracting specialists, Vaughan Engineering Services.

The Innovation Centre expansion will be completed and ready for occupation by June 2011.
