The Wessex Purchasing Consortium (Wessex Water, Bournemouth & West Hampshire Water and Bristol Water) has awarded a contract worth £150,000 per annum to iron technology leader Saint-Gobain PAM UK for the supply of resilient seated and metal faced gate valves, air valves and non-return valves for use across the Wessex Consortium Operating Region.

Saint-Gobain PAM UK Valves Product Manager Tara Smith commented: "We are delighted to have been awarded this contract by Wessex Consortium and are confident that all consortium companies will benefit from unrivalled quality, ergonomic design and ease of installation and maintenance."

Saint-Gobain PAM UK’s valve offering to the water and sewer market consists of a range of FH2 fire hydrants (CE marked), gate, non-return, air, butterfly and flap valves. These are supported by a range of couplings and flange adaptors and accessories such as extension spindles and T-keys.

The product line-up reflects Saint-Gobain PAM UK’s aim of ‘releasing value through design’, with each valve being specifically designed to reduce customers’ capital and operational spend - from the unit cost of the product to the total installed cost. Each product has been designed to offer optimum durability, performance and quality, and ideally complements the company’s ranges of water and sewer pipes. .
