Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies’ contract, valued at more than £10 m, includes pre treatment by fat, oil, grit and grease removal, primary treatment by Multifloä lamella clarifiers and Biostyrä Biological Aerated Flooded Filter for combined secondary treatment.

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies’ site work will begin in 2010 with completion by 2013.

With more than 200 references worldwide in applications as diverse as sewage treatment, drinking water production and industrial wastewater recycling, Multiflo™ lamella settlers are compact, reliable, simple to construct and easy to operate while providing a high efficiency removal of particulate matters.

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies’ well proven Biostyr™ compact BAFF technology will operate in a carbonaceous configuration. The final effluent will discharge to sea and comply with the consents on COD and BOD.
