AUMA Support App for Android

After the successful launch of the AUMA Support App for Apple devices earlier this year, the electric actuator manufacturer now announces a new version of the app for Android devices. Designed to make life easier in the field, the app gives engineers on-site rapid access to all device-related documents, including technical data sheets, operation instructions, wiring diagrams and inspection certificates.
These documents are made available by simply scanning the name plate of an AUMA actuator using a smartphone or tablet PC connected to the Internet. The actuator is identified by means of a data matrix code on the name plate, and the actuator-specific documents are displayed within a few seconds. Documents can be printed, forwarded via e-mail, or saved on the mobile device.The AUMA Support App for mobile devices using the Android operating system is available free of charge from the Google Play Store.
