New Service Concept for Busch in Scotland

Posted: Wednesday 21st October 2009

Busch UK are continuing their commitment to present and future customers throughout Scotland with the introduction of an enhanced vacuum and low pressure pump sales, service and technical support centre based in East Kilbride.

Expanding the already high levels of service, the centre will ensure high speed response times for vacuum and low pressure pump repairs, new pump sales, complete systems packages, rentals and service exchange pumps all using only the highest quality spare parts. The service support offered by the centre extends to include competitor pumps and all applications.

This growth has been achieved by integrating their Semiconductor, Industrial High vacuum and General Industrial vacuum pump support under the single banner of Busch Scotland

Maintaining the specialist service and repair knowledge on semiconductor pumps; whilst broadening the scope of supply in these additional key areas with customer demand for a one stop shop for service and support to Scottish industry has very much been the driver for developing and expanding the scope at the East Kilbride site.

Ian Graves, Busch (UK)’s Managing Director explained; “its great news for Scottish companies looking for a supplier of vacuum and low pressure pumps and systems across a broad range of technologies and applications. Until now we have operated independently in various markets, we can now provide a complete service from our combined facility at East Kilbride.”

This development allows specialist sales and technical support across these key application areas and a single source for all service and repair requirements to be available focussed on local business needs, whilst benefiting from the worldwide expertise of the Busch group.
