MCERTS Self Monitoring of Effluent Flow

1-Day Training Workshop

16th July 2008 - 10.00am ~ 3.00pm

The Olympic, Swanley, Kent, BR8 8DR

Are you a Permit Holder, regulated under PPC Regulations ?

If yes, then this letter applies to you:

There is now less than six months to go for PPC permit operators to fulfil their regulatory requirements and have any effluent flow covered by the permit, inspected by 31st December.

Sira, in partnership with Environment Agency and Emerson Process Management, has created a one-day training workshop based upon the EA regulations. The workshop will include presentations on the requirements of the scheme and explain what is needed in order for you to meet your regulatory responsibilities. Further details are included in the letter you may have received from your local EA office.

The Environment Agency has introduced its Operator Monitoring Assessment (OMA) scheme to strengthen its auditing of operators self-monitoring arrangements. Workshop delegates will also receive an attendance certificate, which can be used as evidence to support your OMA training and competency requirements.

Enclosed are details of the Workshop, with a booking form. Please note spaces are limited so please contact Sira at your earliest opportunity to confirm your place.

With time for compliance fast running out, this workshop offers an ideal opportunity to hear the views from key professionals associated with the implementation, and help you to ensure compliance with the requirements by the deadline.
